COURSE DESCRIPTION
"*Learing the necessity and requirement of Indian Preference in hiring and reaching a goal the fulfills this need is a paramount issue facing many tribes today. Many tribes mouth the policy of Indian Preference but fail to carry out policies that would allow Indian to grow and prosper.
*Indian Preference must be a policy that is truly fulfilled at each tribe to allow for the growth of self-sufficiency of all Indians and their families.
*This course will explore the law and related policies of tribal entities, including gaming enterprises and how and when Indian Preference applies relating to individual Indians and companies. Including, the retention, recruiting and promotion of Indian people and non-Indians at all levels of tribal endeavors."
